Wild Kingdom
In Conclusion
Overall I have to say I have enjoyed Wild Kingdom especially creating my final images, I am really pleased with the final result and the photos that have come out of it. I love drawing so coming up with new designs with inspiration from magazines and fashion shows was fun. I also like the idea of tattoos now and have a broader understanding of each tribe, I especially was interested into the Native Americans and the history behind the headdress. If i could change anything about my final images it would be to have practised the hair for my editorial shoot more but I was very pleased with the outcome of my image. I also wished I had made more face charts so show more progression with my project than I did.
Timed Assessment
Fo my timed assessment I was paired with Victoria and recreated her design on my model Rose.
These were her face designs.
I really enjoyed doing this assessment, I liked the way you could recreate someone elses design, and I liked seeing how she did my design on her own model.

Final Images Editorial
I think the hair worked really well for my final images, her hair was so long so took a while to pin it all up but pinning the extensions on looked really good, even though they weren't the same colour as her hair I thought this added a better effect with some of the light parts showing through around the buns, I did the hair first as I thought this would take longer and would be better doing the make up with it out of her face. I decided against the pattern on her cheeks as after doing it I thought it looked better with just the contoured cheeks so took it off. I used two different necklaces and just had her in a strapless top. In this image I found the eyeliner the hardest to do as you need a really steady hand to get the line straight, also to get both eyes even. I highlighted her cheekbone using a white eyeshadow which looked really good under the studio lights.
Final Images Editorial
I am really pleased with how this photo came out, I'm glad I decided to use the necklace over her head as it added some colour to the picture along with the beads and the colours of them looking tribal. I drew out my design on the head firstly in a light pencil then went over it with a black eyeliner and then with paint just making sure each line was straight. A.J had the perfect hair and eyebrows for this picture and I really enjoyed doing her make-up.
I just thought this picture looked really good and so natural and thats why i wanted to include it in my final images.
Models
These are my beautiful models i will be using for my shoots!
A.J will be my model for the catwalk image, I'm really looking forward to seeing how the finished make-up will look on her!
Steph, my model for the editorial look, she has the most amazing long hair which will look great in the mohican.
Both my models have really good skin and very photogenic.

Editorial Design
This is my chosen design for my editorial shoot, I wanted this photo to mainly focus on the eyes, with dark brown eyeshadow up to the eyebrows forming a straight box like look going round the eyesocket and fading out, on the eyelid I wanted a white/cream colour. Then a bold black line going over the eyelid and following down by the nose, with a brown shadow going round and fading out. The eyebrows just above in black. I have brown pattern going down the cheeks getting smaller. The lips I wanted in a orange/brown colour, finally the base a normal colour with bronzer contouring the cheek bones.
I then developed the eyebrows to look bigger and more brushed up i thought this would look better on my final photo.
I am doing the mohican hairstyle we learnt in class, I thought it looked so good and how you can weave different materials or coloured hair into it, this is how I started sectioning the hair going down into small ponytails which I then backbrushed and curled inwards to make the hair bigger before I put the extensions in, I did this with every ponytail. Then using my extensions I would weave them through each bun.
Catwalk Design
This is my chosen final deisgn for the make up, I got my inspiration from Qasimi's Fall/Winter show in 2011.
I decided I wanted the eyebrows painted over black joining onto the design on the head with a straight line going towards the outside. I did the forehead in black i thought this stood out more and would look better on my model. I really liked the idea of the lips being plain with a black strip going down the middle just on the bottom lip, also the eyes being bare so focus wasnt taken from the pattern on her head.
This is how I want the hair for my catwalk image, inspired by Alexander Mcqueens Fall 2000-2001 show, I loved the way the hair was stuck down in a middle parting, and mine would go out at the sides and be backbrushed to create the firm matted look.
While practising this hair style I decided it could look abit boring, so I found a necklace from top shop which goes down the front of your stomach and thought this could look good draped round the hair.
